Meet The Team
Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Dr. Jamie Wick, D.O.M.
Dr. Jamie Wick began to study acupuncture out of a deep curiosity about the body’s innate ability to heal. She was deeply curious about alternative ways to address dis-ease, in a way that causes less harm than many other approaches.
Before becoming an acupuncturist Jamie lived in Mexico and worked in human rights. She loved this work, and she also realized that traditional medicine, such as Chinese medicine, could offer a greater service to humanity. During her travels in Mexico, she was inspired by the deep connection to nature held by the people. The natural world is a part of their cosmovision, about life and about medicine. Jamie began to learn more about traditional medicine in different parts of the world and finally decided to study acupuncture.
Jamie is a board-certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM, and a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine.
Jamie is a mom to two little ones who already love acupuncture. While Jamie considers herself a general practitioner, she also has a special interest in working with children and families, supporting couples on their fertility journey from preconception, pregnancy, and post-natal care, and she has a range of experience successfully treating those with pain, autoimmune conditions and other chronic conditions.

Acupuncture, Herbs & Tui Na
Michael Brown has a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. Michael is trained in three styles of acupuncture: Acupuncture Pain Management, Kiiko Style (Japanese acupuncture), and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
In addition, Michael Brown trained in Tui Na under Tom Bisio, a leader in field of Tui Na. Tui Na is a form of Asian bodywork that is performed with the clothes on. Tui Na treats pain, improves range of motion, and supports overall wellbeing while restoring balance and harmony to the body by unblocking meridians and promoting the circulation of qi and blood.
Michael is skilled in the use of trigger points to unblock pain and tightness in the body in order to promote healing.
Michael Brown not only enjoys treating privately, but he also enjoys providing acupuncture in a community setting. He currently provides this service in Baltimore supporting vulnerable communities during current opioid crisis.
Michael also enjoys practicing “moving medication”, also known as Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Michael teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gong throughout Maryland, DC and Baltimore. Michael believes that “the best doctor is the one inside of YOU! Acupuncture helps You heal yourself”
Dinah Simpson wholeheartedly embraces holistic and energetic healing, and her unwavering commitment flows from her own life’s journey through its formidable
challenges. She embarked on this transformative path thanks to the powerful healing of Reiki, Meditation, and Sound Therapy. Dinah understands the ups and downs of life, and her mission is to share the gifts of these ancient modalities to alleviate the stressors of our modern time. Her intention is to guide you toward finding peace and self-discovery so that you may find your own path of transformation.
Below are details of her offerings as well as some insight to who Dinah is:
Dinah is a Reiki Master of Usui and Kundalini Lineage
Usui Reiki Ryoho is of the traditional Japanese lineage and encompasses the foundation of Reiki. Reiki balances and improves the flow of energy into the body to allow for healing, stress reduction, and relaxation of the body, mind , and spirit. It is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. When ki is blocked or constricted, our well-being is affected in many ways. Reiki can help address an energy block by moving stagnant energy, bring the body back into alignment, and be a catalyst for renewal.
Kundalini Reiki is an addition to the traditional Usui Reiki system with more possibilities and applications for your own awakening of spiritual connection and development. The Kundalini energy is activated by pulling the universal life energy along with the energy from the earth in a downward movement through your energy channel. An extremely powerful process takes place that awakens the Kundalini energy from the root to the crown chakra. You can immediately experience all the positive qualities of the Kundalini energy in body, mind, and spirit.
Dinah is a Meditation Guide, offering teachings and support in the practice of meditation; helping individuals cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and enhance mental well-being. By providing instruction on various meditation techniques, she is able to create customized sessions for clients to facilitate their journey toward inner calm, self-discovery, and presence.
Dinah absolutely loves the offering of Sound Therapy! She uses various sound instruments to guide groups or individuals into deep relaxation to promote physical and emotional well-being. Studies show that sound vibrations have a direct impact on the mental processes, muscles, nervous system, heartbeat, pulse, digestive & circulatory systems. The magic to her Sound Therapy sessions are the crystal sound bowls. These beautifully crafted instruments emit etheric frequencies that affect the mind, body, emotions and spirit which slow down brain waves and induces deep relaxation that support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Also incorporated into sessions are chimes, Tibetan sound bowls, drumming, and gong. Sound therapy can be added to Reiki and Meditation sessions.
